Our commitment to your educational journey and satisfaction. Last updated:
At Tlaxoudhol, we are dedicated to providing exceptional 3D education experiences that transform creative aspirations into professional capabilities. We understand that circumstances change, and we strive to balance fairness to our students with the practical realities of educational planning and resource allocation.
This Return and Refund Policy applies to all courses offered through our Birmingham facility and outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be granted and the processes involved.
In accordance with UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel your course enrolment within 14 calendar days of completing your enrolment, provided that:
• The course has not yet commenced
• You have not accessed course materials or attended any sessions
• You have not explicitly requested early access to course content
If you cancel during this cooling-off period and meet the above conditions, you will receive a full refund of all fees paid, processed within 14 working days to your original payment method.
To exercise your cooling-off rights, please contact us in writing (email or post) stating your intention to cancel. No specific format is required, though providing your name, course title, and enrolment date helps us process your request efficiently.
If you cancel your enrolment after the cooling-off period but before the course start date, the following refund structure applies:
More than 30 days before start date: Full refund minus £50 administrative fee
15-30 days before start date: 75% refund of total course fees
7-14 days before start date: 50% refund of total course fees
Less than 7 days before start date: 25% refund of total course fees
These timeframes reflect the resources we commit to course preparation, including instructor scheduling, materials preparation, and facility allocation. We appreciate as much notice as possible to minimise disruption and potentially offer your place to other interested students.
Once a course has begun and you have attended sessions or accessed course materials, refund eligibility is calculated on a pro-rata basis:
Within the first week (up to 10% course completion): Refund of 75% of remaining course fees
Within the first two weeks (up to 20% course completion): Refund of 50% of remaining course fees
After 20% course completion: No refund available
Refunds are calculated based on the original course duration, not the actual time you spent in attendance. For example, if you withdraw after attending two weeks of an eight-week course, you have completed 25% of the course regardless of actual attendance at individual sessions.
We recognise that life presents unexpected challenges. In cases of serious illness, family emergencies, or other significant extenuating circumstances that prevent you from completing your course, we may offer:
• Transfer to a future course cohort without additional fees
• Extended access to course materials to complete at your own pace
• Partial refund consideration beyond standard policy terms
Such considerations are made on a case-by-case basis and may require supporting documentation. Please contact us as soon as possible if you find yourself in exceptional circumstances so we can explore appropriate solutions together.
We are educators first and understand that student wellbeing and life circumstances sometimes require flexibility beyond standard policies.
Occasionally, we may need to cancel or reschedule courses due to:
• Insufficient enrolment numbers
• Instructor unavailability due to unforeseen circumstances
• Facility issues or technical problems beyond our control
• Force majeure events (natural disasters, public health emergencies, etc.)
In such cases, we will provide at least 14 days' notice whenever possible and offer you the following options:
• Full refund of all fees paid
• Transfer to an alternative course date at no additional cost
• Credit towards a different course of equal or greater value
We are not liable for any additional costs you may incur (such as travel or accommodation) if we must cancel a course, though we make every effort to provide maximum advance notice to minimise inconvenience.
Certain fees and services are non-refundable under any circumstances:
• Certificate issuance fees (if already processed)
• Individual tutoring sessions that have already taken place
• Materials or software licenses provided to you
• Administrative fees where explicitly stated during enrolment
These exclusions will be clearly communicated during the enrolment process.
Once we approve a refund request, we will process it according to the following timeline:
• Refunds are processed within 14 working days of approval
• Payments return to your original payment method
• Your bank or card provider may take additional time to credit your account
You will receive email confirmation when your refund has been processed, including the expected timeline for funds to appear in your account.
